Welcome to the Rockford Skating Club!
Compete with us! Rockford Skating Club proudly hosts two annual competitions that draw competitors at all levels from the Greater Rockford, Chicagoland and Wisconsin area. They are the Cranberry Classic, held in November, and the 815 Classic, held in March. Our competitions and test sessions are held at Carlson Ice Arena, conveniently located in Loves Park, IL, less than a mile from the highway and close to hotels, restaurants and local attractions.

Thank you for your interest in the Cranberry Classic! We are very excited to host this annual event, traditionally the first weekend in November!
The Cranberry Classic is held at Carlson Ice Arena, located at 4150 N. Perryville Rd., Loves Park, Illinois. The single sheet arena is 185-ft x 80-ft.
The Learn to Skate USA Competition is approved by U.S. Figure Skating and conducted in accordance with the USFS rulebook.
The competition is open to ALL skaters who are currently eligible (ER 1.00) members of either the Learn to Skate USA program or those who are full members of U.S. Figure Skating. To be eligible, skaters must have submitted a membership application or be a member in good standing.
